TCH Has Acquired Access Technologies, LLC of Albuquerque, NM
Minneapolis, MN - October 1, 2019 The TCH Family of Businesses has acquired the assets of Access Technologies (ATISW).
Based in Albuquerque, NM, Access Technologies has comparable industry skills specifically with TCH’s Integrated Access Systems division in physical security and technology solutions. "Access Technologies’ history as an IT company progressing into physical security, brings our greater company additional opportunities to better serve our customers with broader and more advanced technology solutions." Per Jon Krueger Director, Integrated Access Systems at TCH, regarding the transaction. Solutions including IT services, cloud-based capabilities, cyber security, data transmissions, and digital signage to name a few.
"For over 25 years, Access Technologies has built a professional and well-respected reputation throughout the Southwest with its customers and vendors," said Tim Gorman, founder and Vice President. Their presence in: AZ, CO, CA, NM, and NV along with their reputation were additional supporting aspects to TCH’s decision process. ATISW’s IT based specialties fit nicely into TCH’s goal to develop more resources in advanced security technologies. Aligned future growth strategy was a mutual perspective between the two companies. "We wanted to find a company that best fits our customers and employees" ATISW President Pie Gorman said. "That’s been our No. 1 priority. We’ve considered several companies but TCH was the best fit both strategically and culturally" continued Pie Gorman.
As the commercial building industry evolves, needs for experiences in the digital and cloud-base fields will increase. "Bringing in Access Technologies aligns with our growth goals of strategic acquisitions which complement our current standard products and services, and provide expandable capabilities" said Ben Boomer, TCH President. By bridging the current integrated physical security offering with the strong IT services, TCH will provide an even more complete security program. With the acquisition, TCH will retain Access Technologies name and staff. Tim and Pie Gorman have agreed to stay on with Access Technologies/TCH for two years to help with the transition.
